Honeymoon Registry

One of the neatest things to hit the bridal world is honeymoon registries. These are great for brides who already have all their household items, or brides that would like decrease the cost of their honeymoon. I've found that guests love having the option of helping you experience your dream honeymoon. You can register for hotel, transportation, meals, spa days, entertainment, and so much more! Guests can choose to mail you a check or give it you on your wedding day. You can easily put a link to the registry on your wedding website.

After you get back from your honeymoon you can send a picture of you and your husband on your honeymoon with the thank you card to the guests who chose this registry.

There are a few different honeymoon registries out there but the best one I found is Honeyfund . The service is free for basic, I'm pretty sure premium just makes the registry look prettier. You can put whatever you want on your registry and they have a bunch of different photos to choose from to match your item. Below is an example of their registry, you will want to put a lot more things on yours though.

When I was looking for good honeymoon deals one of the best sites I found was Travelzoo. Every Wendesday they send out an email with their top 20 travel deals that week. They have everything from cruises, trips to disneyworld, flights to many different countries, and flight, air, and car packages to many destinations. Most of their deals are for travel within 3 months, so you wont be able to plan way ahead but you will be able to get a great deal. 
This week one of my favorite deals is a Tuscany 6 night vacation at a Castle Estate which includes car and Air for $799 a person. Most flights alone cost this much. I hope this helps you get a good deal on your dream honeymoon, or just a vacation get-away.

Treehouse Getaway

You don't have to spend lots of money and go out of the country to have a romantic honeymoon. There are many great locations to honeymoon in the continental United States. Why not have a unique honeymoon in a romantic treehouse? In Eureka Springs Arkansas there is The Original Treehouse Cottages. They have 7 great treehouses to chooses from that all have a hot tub, and a private deck. They also provide champagne and chocolates for their honeymoon guests. The treehouse's range from $145-$165 a night.

While you are in Eureka Springs you can go enjoy a day at the Eureka Springs Spa, go on a hike at Lake Leatherwood, and go to the Turpentine Creek Exotic Wildlife Refude.
